US-UK joint aggression on Yemen as Sanaa vows ongoing Gaza support
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reports that strikes by the US-UK coalition targeted the al-Tuhayta directorate in Hodeidah.
The United States and Britain launched on Tuesday a new joint aggression against Yemen, targeting the al-Tuhayta directorate in Hodeidah, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
This attack comes days after the two allies carried out over 10 strikes between Thursday and Friday last week, targeting several areas of Yemeni regions governed by Sanaa.
Among the targeted areas were the Rass Isa province in the al-Salif directorate, the al-Shabakah area south of the al-Salif port and the Jabbanah area north of Hodeidah city, and the Taif area, in the al-Durayhimi directorate south of the coastal province on the Red Sea, west of Yemen.
Aggressions on Yemen started after Sanaa launched a phase of operations against Israeli and "Israel"-bound ships in response to the occupation entity's genocide in Gaza.

Operation will persist
On Monday, Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) Spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced in a brief military statement that American bulk carrier Star Iris was targeted in the Red Sea with several naval missiles, confirming that it was hit directly.
According to the statement, this operation comes in solidarity with the people of Palestine and in response to the US-British aggression against Yemen.
Saree reiterated that Yemen's military forces will not hesitate to carry out more operations in response to the "Zionist crimes against people in the Gaza Strip."
