War on Lebanon: 2,083 killed as ‘Israel’ continues targeting civilians
The Israeli occupation continues escalating its aggression on Lebanon, murdering 10 firefighters in one airstrike in the country’s south.
The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s relentless airstrikes on Lebanon has surged to 2,083 martyrs, with at least 9,869 wounded, as Israeli warplanes intensified their bombardment on various regions, including the Southern Suburb of Beirut and Southern Lebanon.
Late Monday night, Israeli jets launched 15 airstrikes on Beirut's Dahiyeh area, targeting the Mrayjeh neighborhood near Tahwitat al-Ghadeer, a heavily populated area, causing widespread damage and endangering civilian lives.
The strikes extended to northern Bekaa, where the outskirts of Qsarnaba were also hit.
In southern Lebanon, multiple towns were bombarded. Airstrikes hit the outskirts of Sriri and the town of Sejoud in Jezzine district, as well as Kfar Kila near the Lebanese-Palestinian border area.
Moreover, in one of the deadliest and most heinous massacres in recent days, an Israeli raid on Baraachit killed 10 firefighters who were responding to earlier strikes in the area, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
Similarly, at noon Saturday, an Israeli drone struck an area where Civil Defense and rescue operations attempted to lift the rubble following the intense aggression on Mrayjeh, in Beirut's Southern Suburb, forcing the crews to withdraw from the site immediately, as "Israel" stretches its tactics of obstructing all rescue efforts in Lebanon.
Further strikes targeted Ghassaniyeh and a high-rise residential building in Tyre, where the upper floors were hit, adding to the growing number of casualties.
