A large force of the Israeli occupation army stormed Al-Khalil this morning from the northern entrance and deployed heavily in the area of Bir al-Muhajir and the University neighborhood.

The IOF imposed a military cordon in the area, closed main roads, restricted the movement of citizens, and besieged the home of the martyr Hassan Qafisha; an apartment located on the third floor of a residential building consisting of several floors.

The occupation forces raided the martyr's home, where his family resides, and proceeded to demolish the house. The heroic martyr was involved in the tunnel checkpoint Resistance operation alongside martyrs Nasr and Abdul Qader al-Qawasmi whose homes were also demolished at the end of last month.

Moreover, earlier on February 8, it was announced that Muhammad Khalil Al-Barghouthi from the town of Kafr Ein, northwest of Ramallah, was martyred as a result of being shot by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the town nearly two weeks ago.

The Palestinian Resistance factions engaged in fierce, intense confrontations with Israeli occupation forces raiding several towns and cities in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday afternoon.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Tulkarm, in particular, announced that its fighters continue to engage in fierce confrontations with invading occupation forces in the Nur Shams refugee camp to the east of Tulkarm city in the occupied West Bank.

The Tulkarm governorate is positioned at the western periphery of the occupied West Bank, meaning that it is strategically close to a number of central occupied cities in '48 occupied territories, including "Netanya".

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades - Tulkarm also announced that its fighters, armed with assault rifles and locally produced explosive devices, were confronting occupation forces.

The Israeli occupation raid which included over 100 vehicles, and more than 500 Israeli occupation soldiers and lasted for more than 6 hours, culminated in the assassination of one of the founders of the Tulkarm Brigade, martyrs Motasem al-Ali, who refused to give himself in and confronted the occupation alongside his companions until his martyrdom.

Alongside al-Ali, two other Resistance fighters, one of whom is his brother, were also martyred in the cowardly assassination which included the besieging of al-Ali's home and targeting it with a drone strike, and Energa anti-tank grenades amid heavy confrontations. The brave martyrs are Islam al-Ali and Ziad al-Dama. After their martyrdom, the Israeli occupation forces took al-Ali's remains to an unknown location.
