Woman, niece killed, six others wounded in Israeli strike on Lebanon
The Israeli occupation continues killing civilians in southern Lebanon, and this time, the victims are a mother and her niece.
The southern Lebanese town of Hanin was devastatingly hit by an airstrike launched by the Israeli occupation forces, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported on Tuesday, killing a woman and her niece and wounding six others.
Israeli warplanes launched two missiles at the two-story house belonging to the Qashaqash family in Hanin, NNA reported. The onslaught completely obliterated the building, killing two of those inside it.

Among the martyrs were Maryam Qashaqash and her niece, Sarah Qashaqash, who was only 11 years old.
Following the strike, emergency response teams swiftly mobilized to the scene. Ambulance units from the Islamic Health Authority, al-Risala Scouts, and the Civil Defense worked tirelessly to locate survivors buried beneath the debris.
Six victims who were wounded were found beneath the rubble before they were rushed to the Martyr Salah Ghandour Hospital in Bint Jbeil.

The remains of Maryam Qashaqash were discovered more than two hours after the airstrike, and she was then taken to the same hospital in Bint Jbeil.
The Israeli slaughter of innocent Lebanese civilians has wound down over the past few weeks, and while the targeted precision strikes are still afflicting the Lebanese South, there have been no civilian deaths for nearly a month now.
One of the latest Israeli strikes before the hiatus, however, targeted not only civilians but paramedics, wherein seven paramedics were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Islamic Medical Association center in the town of Hebbariyeh.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah said it strongly condemns the heinous crime, vowing that this aggression shall not go unanswered.
Commenting on the latest Israeli aggression on Hebbariyeh Lebanese MP Hassan Mrad said it is "a new massacre added to the record of Israeli crimes."
The Emergency and Relief Corps of the Lebanese Succor Association described the aggression as "a heinous crime" by all standards and a violation of international laws, holding the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible.
The Israeli occupation is no stranger to killing defenseless Lebanese civilians and children, as a series of airstrikes targeted civilians, such as the strike on March 9 that martyred five people: A father, his two children, his wife, and one other civilian.
Nine civilians, who had previously escaped the recurrent Israeli attacks on Blida and took refuge in Khirbet Selem, were reportedly injured in "Israel's" attack on the residential complex and transported to the nearby Tibnine Hospital.
The town of Khirbet Selem is almost 10 km away from the Blue Line separating Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
