The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that they had carried out five coordinated military operations targeting key Israeli infrastructure and a commercial vessel in the northern Red Sea, in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Targets included the General Staff building in occupied Yafa, the Hadera power station, al-Lydd (Ben Gurion) Airport, Askalan (Ashdod) Port, and the MSC ABY ship, according to a statement by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces.
Saree confirmed that the drone air force executed four distinct operations using Samad-4 drones. The first strike targeted the General Staff headquarters in occupied Yafa, while subsequent attacks focused on the power station, airport, and the port of Askalan.
“All targets were successfully hit,” the spokesman affirmed.
In a joint operation conducted by the Air Force and Missile Force, the commercial vessel MSC ABY was struck using two drones and a winged missile. The ship, which was targeted for violating the ban on entry into the ports of occupied Palestine and for its affiliation with the Israeli entity, was directly hit.
Operations conducted in support of Gaza
The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that these operations are part of ongoing military support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, declaring that the strikes will continue until the aggression ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
General Saree reiterated that the attacks were a direct response to “the genocide and starvation of civilians” committed by the Israeli enemy in Gaza, and affirmed the continued commitment of the Yemeni people to the Palestinian cause.
