The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Monday carrying out a ballistic missile strike, targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv (occupied Yafa), in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza and violations at Al Aqsa Mosque.
According to a statement by Yemeni military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the operation involved a Zulfiqar ballistic missile and "successfully hit its target with precision," reportedly forcing four million Israelis into shelters and disrupting air traffic at the airport.
The statement framed the attack as a response "to the genocide and starvation crimes in Gaza, and the desecration of Al Aqsa Mosque," and emphasized solidarity with the Palestinian people and armed factions resisting Israeli forces.
"The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to monitor developments in Gaza, salute the sacrifices of its steadfast people, and extend a pan-Arab and Islamic military greeting to the al-Qassam Brigades, al-Quds Brigades, and all Resistance fighters," the statement read.
The Yemeni forces reaffirmed their position of support for the Palestinian cause, stating that “free and sovereign Yemen will never abandon Palestine and will remain at its side until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted.”

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation military confirmed the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen targeting the occupied territories, triggering widespread alarm across central and southern occupied Palestine, including the al-Quds area and illegal settlements in the southern West Bank.
According to the Israeli military, sirens were activated in multiple locations as air defense systems attempted to intercept the incoming projectile, claiming it was actively working to down the missile, which marks the latest operation in a series of long-range attacks launched from Yemen.
Since the Israeli occupation resumed its large-scale assault on Gaza on March 18, Yemen's Ansar Allah movement has intensified its support for Palestinians by launching 44 ballistic missiles and at least 10 drones toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
While many of these projectiles have reportedly failed to reach their targets, the continued launches have exposed vulnerabilities in the Israeli security posture and forced repeated disruptions across vast areas.
YAF target Ben Gurion Airport
On Sunday, the Rocket Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a top-tier military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport in "Israel", in the occupied area of Yafa (Tel Aviv) with a hypersonic ballistic missile, announced Saree.
He confirmed that the operation successfully achieved its objective, forcing millions of Israeli settlers into shelters and halting operations at the airport.
Additionally, the YAF's UAV Unit carried out three military operations targeting three vital Israeli sites in the areas of Yafa, Isdud, and Umm al-Rashrash in occupied Palestine using three drones, the spokesperson affirmed.
He said the operations were in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their Resistance fighters and in rejection of the genocide being committed by "Israel" in the Gaza Strip.
