Mass rallies were held on Friday in the provinces of Saada, Raymah, and Marib, reaffirming Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their resistance. The demonstrations were organized under the slogan, “Steadfast with Gaza, and fully prepared to confront all enemy conspiracies.”

Participants raised slogans affirming Yemenis' commitment to the Palestinian cause and rejecting all forms of aggression and normalization. They also emphasized their full readiness to confront the challenges and plots targeting the Axis of Resistance.

This comes after Yemeni Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi called on Yemenis and the broader Arab and Muslim world to rise up. “If there had been widespread popular movements across Arab and Muslim countries, it would have influenced the decisions and positions of rulers and regimes,” he said.

US politics polarization: How Gaza garnered Mamdani his win

In a Thursday speech, he lamented that “nations went silent when regimes began to suppress them, and so the Ummah of two billion Muslims accepted to remain in a disgraceful state.”

Al-Houthi urged the Yemeni people to turn out en masse on Friday in Sanaa and other provinces “in solidarity with the Palestinian people.”

Yemen has been active on the popular and military fronts since "Israel" launched its brutal war on Gaza, organizing mass protests and executing significant military operations, as well as imposing a naval blockade on the occupation, costing the Israeli regime billions of dollars in losses.

Despite the US-UK-Israeli aggression on its territory, Sanaa's position never faltered or deterred its people from supporting Gaza's people or the Palestinian Resistance.
