The reporter said there were deaths and injuries among the UAE-backed Giants Brigades forces, as a result of missile strikes that targeted them in the Usaylan District, west of Shabwa Governorate, east Yemen.

This comes after dozens of brigade militants were killed and wounded yesterday, including the Chief of Staff of the 2nd Giants Brigade, Samih Al-Subaihi, following vicious battles with the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees in the areas of Al-Hajar, Al-Sada, Lakhider, and Al-Saleem, north and east of Usaylan District.

Today, Wednesday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they shot down an armed spy plane while it was carrying out hostile acts in Usaylan in central southern Yemen.

110 Saudi-led air raids in 48 hours

The Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched 45 raids in the districts of Usaylan and Baihan, west Shabwa, east Yemen. Moreover, 20 raids targeted the eastern Al-Balaq area in Wadi Ubaidah District, southeast Marib, and Al-Juba and Serwah saw 7 raids.

During the past 48 hours, the number of raids in Marib, Al-Jawf, Saada, and Al-Bayda saw an increasing number of raids, amounting to 110, most of which targeted Usaylan and Bayhan Districts, Shabwa Governorate, to support the Emirati-backed Salafist Giants Brigades to regain control of aforementioned districts.

At dawn today, Wednesday, the Saudi coalition warplanes launched 3 raids on the former headquarters of the 1st Armored Division, north of Sanaa, and the Dhabwa area in Sanhan District, south Sanaa.

148 Saudi-led coalition violations in 24 hours

In a related context, a Yemeni military source indicated that the Saudi coalition forces carried out 148 new violations on the fronts, south Al-Hudaydah Governorate, during the past 24 hours.

The source pointed out that the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees thwarted a new infiltration attempt by the Saudi coalition forces in the Hays District, south of Al-Hudaydah, adding that multiple forces of the Saudi coalition bombed the areas controlled by the Army and the Committees south of Al-Hudaydah with 186 missiles and artillery shells.

Furthermore, the source confirmed that the Saudi reconnaissance aircraft launched 7 raids on Hays and Al-Tuhayta.
