Yemen: UAE-backed Giants Brigades top leader killed in Shabwa

Al Mayadeen correspondent in Yemen has reported the death of the Third Brigade Commander of the Emirati-backed Giants Brigades, Majdi Radfani, in an operation by the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees in Bayhan district of Shabwa, eastern Yemen.
Dozens of other members of the UAE-backed brigade were killed or wounded in artillery fire, and five of their military vehicles were damaged, according to our correspondent.
Earlier, a Yemeni military source reported the killing of the Second Brigade Commander of the UAE-backed Giants Brigades, Samih Jarada Al-Subaihi, in an operation by the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees in Usaylan Shabwa, eastern Yemen.
Farhan al-Naqib, the commander of the Second Brigade of President Hadi's Special Forces, was also killed in Marib three days ago, according to Al Mayadeen correspondent.
Furthermore, a Yemeni military source reported the killing of the Second Brigade Commander of the Emirati-backed Giants Brigades, Samih Jarada Al-Subaihi, in an operation by the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees in Usaylan Shabwa, eastern Yemen.
The source stressed that Al-Subaihi "is considered one of the most prominent Salafist field leaders, and his death represents a great loss for the UAE."
It is worth mentioning that Hilal Al-Khalidi, the leader of President Hadi's "Al-Majd Brigade," and many of his militants were murdered in clashes with the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees on the outskirts of Marib and the Juba district.
