The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) launched ballistic missiles at an Israeli military target in Eilat, occupied Umm al-Rashrash, in southern occupied Palestine, the spokesperson for the YAF, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Monday night.

Saree made the third announcement on the operations of the YAF in the past four days, saying that the YAF's Rocket Force attacked the site utilizing the "Palestine" ballistic missile. This is the first time that the YAF revealed its use of the weapon to attack long-range targets in occupied Palestine.

The spokesperson stressed that the operation achieved its intended objective.

Moreover, Saree reiterated that the YAF will continue to attack Israeli targets and Israeli-affiliated assets in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

Earlier on Sunday, the military spokesperson revealed that the YAF had conducted six operations against enemy vessels in the aforementioned waterways.

Saree said that the first operation targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 2, in the northern Red Sea using several anti-ship missiles and drones.

He underlined that this was the second attack against the carrier within 24 hours. Saree further confirmed that a second operation also targeted another US destroyer positioned in the Red Sea and achieved direct hits.

In regards to merchant vessels, the YAF targeted MAINA on two separate occasions,  the ALORAIQ ship in the Indian Ocean, and the ABLIANI in the Red Sea.

The merchant vessels violated the embargo imposed on the Israeli regime and allied countries, prompting the YAF to launch attacks on them.
