A senior Yemeni military source told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation’s “psychological and propaganda warfare is ineffective and will have no impact on the course of operations.”
The source emphasized that the Israeli entity is “experiencing significant confusion in presenting its narrative” and is exercising “extreme caution when sending aircraft into Yemeni airspace.” He stressed that “the Yemeni people, together with the Arab and Islamic worlds, rely not on the enemy’s narrative but on that of the Yemeni Armed Forces.”
Additional Yemeni sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation’s claims are false, stating that “the targeting is directed against the Yemeni people, not as the enemy claims.”
Al Mayadeen’s bureau chief in Yemen reported that the latest Israeli aggression struck civilian sites and homes that had already been evacuated, though civilians continue to reside in the surrounding areas. He added that sources affirmed “everything promoted by the Israeli occupation is false, and the targets were solely civilian sites.”
The bureau chief further reported that Israeli airstrikes also targeted the residence of Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, which had already been evacuated following earlier Israeli attacks on Yemen. He confirmed that there were no casualties among Yemeni military personnel or officials at the Ministry of Defense.
10 airstrikes hit Yemen's Sanaa
The Yemeni capital of Sanaa was hit by more than 10 Israeli airstrikes on Thursday, resulting in a series of successive explosions, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported.
Just days earlier, the Israeli occupation targeted a fuel derivatives warehouse with several raids on 60th Street in the southwestern sector of Sanaa.
According to Yemen’s Ministry of Health, the ongoing aggression has so far left four martyrs and 67 wounded in a near-final casualty count.
The latest escalation comes as the Yemeni Armed Forces continue their operations deep inside the Israeli entity, maintaining a naval blockade on shipping routes and ports in support of Gaza.
Yemen strikes 'Israel'
The Yemeni Armed Forces on Wednesday conducted a top-tier military operation targeting al-Lydd Airport in the occupied Yafa area using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile.
The operation, announced by spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, successfully achieved its objective, suspending airport activity and sending “millions of Zionist occupiers” into shelters.
The operation was a direct response to the ongoing siege, famine, and aggression imposed by "Israel" on the Gaza Strip, particularly in light of recent international acknowledgment of the humanitarian crisis.
The statement framed the operation as a religious and moral duty, “expressing support for the oppressed Palestinian people” and the Palestinian Resistance. The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized the responsibility of the Arab and Islamic world to act in the face of the Israeli genocide and starvation in Gaza.
