Yemeni crowds flock to squares to celebrate Prophet Muhammad's birth anniversary
The annual celebration of Prophet Muhammad's birth anniversary began in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, as crowds of Yemenis flocked to the squares across Yemen to celebrate the occasion. despite the illegal siege imposed on Yemen by the coalition of aggression.
The events are accompanied by great security and organizational preparations and arrangements, especially in the central square of Al-Sabaeen Square. Another similar huge event was held in Al-Thawra Sports City square, north of the Yemeni capital.

The organizing committee had called on Yemenis to gather Saturday afternoon in more than 20 squares in Sanaa and the governorates of Taiz, Hudaydah, Dhamar, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Al-Jawf, Marib, Saada, Raymah, Al-Bayda and Al-Dhale’ to commemorate the Prophet’s birth anniversary.
On Friday evening, Sanaa and other governorates also witnessed celebrations marking the birth of the Prophet.
Al-Sabaeen Square is expected to host unprecedented crowds to celebrate the occasion.
It is noteworthy that the streets and neighborhoods of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and the main cities were covered with green lights two days ago in celebration of Prophet Muhammed's birth anniversary.
