Leclerc asks fans for privacy after home address leaked
The F1 driver is overwhelmed with fans gathering under his private property, asking them to respect his privacy.
The Ferrari Formula One driver, Charles Leclerc, has asked fans to respect his privacy after they continued to gather outside his Monaco apartment.
The 25-year-old Monegasque, who had an exclusive watch stolen from him in Italy a year ago when he was approached for a selfie by two people wearing scooter helmets, made the plea on Instagram on Sunday.
He said that "for the past few months, my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my bell, and asking for pictures and autographs," adding that "while I'm always happy to be there for you and I truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house.

He assured fans that he is happy to stop for them on the street or at the track, but not at his private home, stressing that there was "a boundary that should not be crossed".
Last week, Italian authorities announced the arrest of four people wanted in connection with the theft of Leclerc's Richard Mille watch in the seaside resort of Viareggio last April.
Leclerc and Ferrari had a rough start to the Formula One season, with the driver retiring in two of the first three races. He won two of the first three races last year before his title hopes faded.
