No to Normalization: Coaches from Jordan, Algeria, pull out of Bahrain Sports event
Jordanian and Algerian coaches pull out of a Bahrainian seminar due to Israeli participation in the event.
Mohammed Saud from Jordan and Brahim Sergma from Algeria pulled out from a seminar currently underway in Bahrain entitled "Development Seminar and Coaching Workshop" because of Israeli participation in the event.
Sergma, a full-contact and kickboxing coach announced his decision to withdraw from the event through a post on his Facebook page.
“I declare my decision to pull out from the international tournament for trainers underway in Bahrain because of the presence of a delegation from the Zionist entity with us in the room," he wrote, adding a No to Normalization hashtag.

As for Coach Mohammad Saud, a Twitter page by the name of "Muqata'a/Boycott4Pal" that covers normalization and boycotts with "Israel", announced the coach's decision, tweeting “Coach Mohammad Saud is a new Arab champion whose name is added to the list of honorable Arab athletes who have taken such honorable stance in international platforms in solidarity with Palestine and in rejection of normalization with the (Israeli) occupation. Thank you coach Mohammad.”

A number of international athletes who rejected normalization with "Israel", withdrawing from their competitions, were honored in Beirut on February 1, and were given gold medals to reward them for their stances against the Israeli occupation.
Iran's women's national hockey team recently canceled its participation in the Ice Hockey World Women's Championship held in Serbia to avoid facing the Israeli occupation team, "Israel" Hayom news website reported.
The championship is set to take place on March 22 in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, where the Iranian team was supposed to face Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and "Israel".
Levav Weinberg, chairman of the "Israel" Hockey Association, called for putting politics aside; a pretext the Israelis frequently use in their attempt to whitewash the image of the "genocidal and illegitimate regime" in different areas.
