Four Palestinians were killed and eight others injured, including two in critical condition, by the Israeli occupation forces during violent confrontations in the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. The confrontations erupted following an Israeli military raid on the town, part of a wider series of incursions across the occupied West Bank.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the IOF stormed Aqaba and besieged a house, leading to clashes with local youths. Israeli soldiers opened fire during the confrontation.

The al-Qassam Brigades - Tubas Battalion stated that its fighters, alongside other Palestinian Resistance factions, engaged in combat with the Israeli forces.

The Tubas Battalion announced that it had detonated an explosive device targeting an Israeli military vehicle in Aqaba, claiming a direct hit.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the martyred included 36-year-old Aysar Mohammad Abu Urrah, 19-year-old Nour Mohammad Yassine al-Yassine and Aamid Yassine Ghannam, and 14-year-old Bilal Ezzeddine. Two others were critically injured.

In a related incident, our correspondent reported that the Israeli incursion into the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank ended after 20 hours, following confrontations between youths and the Israeli occupation forces. The IOF killed eight Palestinians during their raid.

Response to Israeli aggression

The IOF surrounded a vehicle near al-Razi Hospital in the city. Additionally, Israeli bulldozers carried out extensive demolition operations at the New Martyrs' Cemetery in Jenin Camp.

Further reports from Al Mayadeen's correspondent indicated that Israeli forces bombed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, resulting in several injuries. Among the injured was a 15-year-old boy in critical condition who was being resuscitated following the bombing of a vehicle east of Jenin, a statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said.

The al-Qassam Brigades - Jenin Battalion, along with the al-Quds Brigades, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, and the Mujahideen Brigades, declared that their fighters repelled the Israeli forces.

The al-Qassam Brigades - Jenin Battalion confirmed that its fighters, alongside other Resistance factions, engaged Israeli forces in Jenin City and the refugee camp, targeting soldiers and military vehicles with gunfire and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

The Mujahideen Brigades - Jenin Battalion reported detonating two IEDs against Israeli military vehicles near Cinema Square in Jenin.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Jenin Battalion detonated a powerful IED against Israeli soldiers and vehicles around the Martyrs' Cemetery, targeting them with heavy gunfire. Their statement noted fierce confrontations with Israeli forces using machine guns and explosive devices in the Jenin Camp.

Al-Quds Brigades conduct series of operations

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade, one of the most active Resistance groups in the West Bank, announced multiple operations in the meantime.

From a period ranging from Monday afternoon to Monday night, the Brigade's fighters attacked multiple positions of Israeli occupation forces and detonated a number of pre-set explosive devices into armored military vehicles.

The brigade's fighters also engaged Israeli infantry forces on multiple occasions and fired their automatic weapons at forces moving through a supply route into Jenin.

Early on Tuesday morning, the Brigade announced that its fighters executed a number of ambushes targeting Israeli military vehicles and infantry troops in the Jabairat axis and the Mahyoub axis, asserting that it dealt the occupation heavy casualties.

It also announced that its fighters executed a complex ambush in the Awda axis, targeting an Israeli infantry force. The ambush caused several casualties which were transported to by rescue teams from the area.

Some 604 Palestinians have been killed and about 5,400 others wounded at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces and Israeli settlers in various cities and camps of the West Bank since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7.
