Israeli forces continue to attack and kill Palestinian civilians across the Gaza Strip, killing more than 21 people since dawn, including 7 aid seekers.
In the past few hours, Israeli forces repeatedly bombed Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing two people, including a child, and injuring others when they struck displaced civilians’ tents in the al-Mawasi area, west of the city.
Israeli occupation forces killed three people after they opened fire on aid seekers in southern Khan Younis, while, northwest of the city, Israeli artillery shelling on Al-Hanawi School killed two children. Israeli helicopter gunships opened fire on the Western Satar area in northern Khan Younis.
Israeli troops killed a woman after they opened fire in al-Shakoush in northwestern Rafah.
In western Gaza City, an Israeli bombardment targeting a shelter housing displaced people left two dead and others wounded, while in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, Israeli forces struck a vehicle, killing and wounding several Palestinians.
Israeli strikes in eastern Gaza City's al-Zaytoun neighborhood wounded multiple people and left others unaccounted for after hitting the al-Dahdouh family home, with a simultaneous drone attack near Musqat School, east of Tunnel Street, claiming one life.
Health Ministry's daily report
In its daily report, Gaza's Health Ministry revealed that hospitals received the bodies of 89 martyrs, including 10 retrieved from under the rubble, and 453 injuries in 24 hours.
Many victims remain trapped beneath debris and on the streets, unreachable due to continued bombardment.
Since October 7, 2023, as of July 23, 2025, the toll of the Israeli genocide in Gaza has surged to 59,587 Palestinians killed and 143,498 others injured.
The massive increase is attributed to the names of 279 martyrs added to the cumulative statistics of martyrs, whose data have been completed and approved by the Judicial Committee following up on the file of reports and missing persons.
The Israeli attacks since March 18, 2025, have added significantly to this toll, with 8,447 martyrs and 31,457 injuries recorded during this period alone.
Aid seekers targeted, killed
The number of aid martyrs who arrived at hospitals in 24 hours reached 23, in addition to 68 injuries, bringing the total number of Palestinian aid-seekers killed to 1,083, in addition to 7,275 injuries.
Israeli blockade on Gaza kills 100+ people
Hospitals in Gaza have reported that more than 115 people have died from famine and malnutirition as a result of the Israeli occupation’s blockade, with the worsening famine now spreading across the entire Strip, exacerbated by the complete closure of all crossings for 145 consecutive days and the ongoing prevention of critical humanitarian aid, including baby formula, from entering the region.
In a Thursday statement, the Government Media Office in Gaza sounded the alarm over the near-total lack of food, water, and medicine, emphasizing that the Strip desperately needs a minimum of 500,000 bags of flour weekly to prevent a complete humanitarian disaster.
The office also responded to claims spread by activists outside Gaza, who have suggested that the famine has been alleviated or that "hundreds of aid trucks" have entered the Strip, firmly rejecting these statements as false.
The statement stressed that "these claims have no basis in reality," while cautioning that such narratives risk aligning with Israeli propaganda and obscuring the reality of the continuing humanitarian catastrophe.
