The spokesman for the Palestinian Authority, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, slammed the latest siege implemented against the occupied West Bank, city of Nablus - in addition to Israeli aggression against Palestinian cities - as a declaration of war from "Israel" against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli military's incursions into Palestinian cities, villages, and camps, in addition to the continued storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque, along with attempts to shift the status quo of Palestine's holy sites, are all declarations of all-out wars against the Palestinians people and the leadership, Abu Rudeineh said in a statement.

“The continuation of this reckless and irresponsible policy has created an atmosphere of increased tension that would make the situation explode, which we have long warned of,” he said. “The occupying Israeli regime should realize that this policy will not bring security and stability, but will rather push matters into a dangerous situation, stressing that the Palestinian people will in no way accept the continuation of the occupation.”

According to the statement, the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas is following up closely with the siege on Nablus, the attacks on Palestinian cities and villages, and the murders.

Since October 11, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Nablus have been trapped in the Shuafat refugee camp and towns within the vicinities.

The blockade has impeded many Palestinians from receiving the necessary health treatments in addition to basic ingredients such as flour. Education within the refugee camp, also, has been suspended because of the blockade.

On Wednesday night, the Palestinian executor of the Shuafat checkpoint operation against Israeli soldiers, Uday Al-Tamimi, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation.

This came after Al-Tamimi wounded an Israeli security guard, after carrying out a new shooting operation near the settlement of "Ma'ale Adumim", east of occupied Al-Quds.

"The heroic operation of 'Ma'aleh Adumim' is a message written with blood, fire, and gunpowder to the Zionist enemy that the Palestinian people and their resistance can never break their resolve and will, and they will continue to resist until the enemy is swept away from all the blessed soil of Palestine," remarked the Resistance Committees.

For days, the Shuafat refugee camp had witnessed confrontations between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces, which stormed the Shuafat camp following a shooting operation that led to the killing of an Israeli occupation soldier and the injury of two others at the Shuafat checkpoint.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent inside the Shuafat camp reported that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters extensively at Palestinians and civilian homes.
