Al-Arouri's assassination will not go unanswered: Hezbollah
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon says the assassination marks a new dangerous development that will not go without a response.
The assassination of Deputy Chief of Hamas Political Bureau Saleh al-Arouri in the heart of the Southern Suburb of Beirut is a "dangerous development in the course of the war between the Israeli occupation and the Axis of Resistance and a serious attack on Lebanon, its people, security, sovereignty, and resistance," the Islamic Resistance in Lebanonn - Hezbollah, declared.
The Resistance party stressed that the aggression "will not go unanswered or without punishment."
It stressed that the Islamic Resistance remains committed to the promises it made by "keeping its finger on the trigger" and that its fighters remain on high alert and maintain full readiness to respond to any development.
"This momentous day will be followed by [other days of the same importance], so endure patiently, and surely victory, by the will of Allah, is near," the group concluded.
The statement also pointed to the fact that the Israeli war on Gaza neared 90 days, in which the Israeli occupation killed en masse the people of the Gaza Strip and destroyed its towns and cities in an attempt to subdue the Palestinian people.
The Israeli occupation resorted to assassinating any individual who contributed to the planning, executing, or even supporting of the "heroic Al-Aqsa Flood," which the party sees as an attempt to defend the oppressed Palestinian people.

Hezbollah regarded al-Arouri's assassination as a "continuation of" the crime committed against a senior official of the Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps (IRGC) "leader, Sayyed Razi Mousavi, [in Syria]."
The Lebanese Resistance group also affirmed that this heinous crime "will only increase the determination, commitment, and resolve of the Resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, and Iraq to pursue the path of Resistance and Jihad until victory and liberation."
While mourning al-Arouri and his comrades to the Arab and Islamic Ummahs and Palestine, its Resistance, and its people, Hezbollah stated that this great leader "attained the martyrdom he sought, wished for, and worked for with his fellow freedom fighters."

It is worth noting that after he was forced out of his country in 2010, al-Arouri traveled across the world before settling in Lebanon's Southern Suburb of Beirut, where he carried out his revolutionary work, diligently supporting the Palestinian Resistance in the West Bank and Gaza.
The Israeli occupation assassinated al-Arouri after launching three missiles toward a building in the Southern Suburb, leading to his martyrdom alongside two al-Qassam leading figures and others.
