The head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Mahdi Al-Mashat, sent a congratulatory message to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, on the occasion of the Evacuation Day celebrated by Syrians on April 17.
In his message, Al-Mashat told Al-Assad, "we are certain that the Syrian people, under your wise leadership, will once again celebrate a glorious Evacuation Day by expelling the last American soldier from Syria."
The Yemeni leader also praised the fraternal stances that serve to strengthen the relationship between Yemen and Syria.

Iran and Syria to boost cooperation and bilateral ties
It is noteworthy that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Syria on its April 17 Evacuation Day, a day that commemorates the expulsion of the very last French soldier from Syrian land in 1946.
Raisi, furthermore, expressed confidence in boosting cooperation between Iran and Syria, in addition to contributing to regional peace and calm.
On Sunday, Raisi congratulated Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad on Syria's Evacuation Day, asserting confidence in developing and improving bilateral relations in all fields, in addition to employing great capacities and capabilities to establish peace and development.
