Assad, Raisi discuss intensifying efforts for unified Arab position
The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi discuss ways to intensify efforts to adopt a united Arab position with Palestine.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that "the victory of the Resistance proved that the Zionist entity is much weaker than it claimed."
During a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Ebrahim Raisi, on Thursday to discuss the latest developments in occupied Palestine, al-Assad emphasized the urgency of rallying a unified Arab-Islamic stance in support of the oppressed Palestinian people. He stated, "Every hour of delay in achieving unity among Arab and Islamic States implies further Zionist transgressions against the Gaza Strip's population."

On his account, the Iranian president said, "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood proved that a regional equation could not be found without taking into account the rights of the Palestinian people," further explaining that "The Islamic Ummah and all the free people of the world must take a unified stance towards Zionist crimes against Palestine, and bring them to an end."
Raisi also noted that "whoever publicly normalized his ties with the Zionist entity under the pretext of defending Palestinian rights was exposed," then went on to stress that Tehran would "engage with the leaders of Islamic countries to take a unified position on Palestine's developments."
