Axios: UAE asks US to reinstate Ansar Allah as terrorist organization
Axios reveals that the United Arab Emirates asked the United States to reconsider listing the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement as a "terrorist" organization following Operation Yemen Hurricane.
A senior UAE official told Axios that Emirati Minister of Foreign Abdullah Bin Zayed requested Monday from the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a phone call to re-instate the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement as a "terrorist" organization.
US President Joe Biden had canceled former President Donald Trump's decision to consider Ansar Allah a "terrorist" organization, justifying that the decision would affect humanitarian aid to Yemeni people, Axios noted.
It is noteworthy that White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan pointed out in a statement that the US "will work with the UAE and international partners" to hold the Yemeni Armed Forces "accountable."
"Our commitment to the security of the UAE is unwavering, and we stand beside our Emirati partners against all threats to their territory," he added.
Yemen: Victims' number rises in Saudi coalition massacre in Sanaa
The number of victims of the massacre perpetrated by the Saudi coalition warplanes Yesterday in the Al-Libi residential neighborhood in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, has risen to 23.

Operation Yemen Hurricane
The Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained in a statement Monday evening, the details regarding the qualitative operation that targeted the Emirati depth.
"We carried out a qualitative military operation, Operation Yemen Hurricane, in response to the escalation of aggression against the country," Saree said in a statement.
Since the operation, UAE officials held talks with the Biden administration regarding the next steps, Axios noted.
The UAE called the international community to condemn the operation, the website said.
