The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 37,598 and those injured to 86,032, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Sunday.

In its daily report, the Health Ministry stated that the Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres in 24 hours, killing a total of 47 people and injuring 121 others.

It is noteworthy that thousands of victims still remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them on account of them being repeatedly targeted by the IOF, or due to the destruction of vehicles and tools used to clear the rubble.

The Israeli occupation persisted in its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 261st consecutive day, perpetrating additional massacres against families and civilians, resulting in more casualties and injuries.

At least five Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in the early hours of Sunday due to Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments targeting the central and western parts of Gaza City.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent stated that three Palestinians were martyred and others were injured, including children and women, in an Israeli air strike that targeted a residential building near the al-Jawhara Tower in the center of Gaza City. Two Palestinians were also martyred and others injured in a similar Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Beach Camp, west of the city.

The occupation forces' artillery targeted the northern area near the power station in al-Nuseirat, located in the central Gaza Strip.

The al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, witnessed violent confrontations, coinciding with Quadcopter drones firing on the town of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis. Furthermore, the occupation forces' artillery heavily targeted the Tal al-Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah city, located in the southern Gaza Strip. According to our correspondent's report, residential buildings in the Brazil neighborhood south of the city were ruthlessly destroyed by the occupying forces.
