The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 37,626 and the number of injured to 86,032, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Monday.

In its daily report, the Health Ministry stated that the Israeli occupation forces killed 47 people and injured 121 others in the past 24 hours.

It is noteworthy that thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them on account of them being repeatedly targeted by the IOF, or due to the destruction of vehicles and tools used to clear the rubble.

Palestinian Resistance continues confrontations

On a related note, earlier today, Palestinian Resistance fighters carried on their confrontation with Israeli occupation forces on multiple fronts in the Gaza Strip, as fighting concentrated in the southern areas of Rafah on Sunday.

For the first time since the invasion of Rafah was launched in early May, Hamas' military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, announced that its fighters fired an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at an Israeli target. The announcement marks a rare incident in the Gaza Strip, which has seen little use of ATGMs against Israeli targets.

Al-Qassam's Military Media Unit said that the fighters fired an ATGM at an Israeli armored vehicle, Ofek, in Tal Za'arab in the southern part of Rafah. The statement added that the vehicle caught fire after being hit by the missile.
