Day 87: Israeli strikes continue in Gaza Strip, martyrs reported
On the 87th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the bombardment persisted with air raids and artillery attacks, focusing on the central region of the Gaza Strip and the vicinity of Abu Dawoud Mosque in Camp 2 in Nuseirat.
On Monday morning, Israeli occupation forces continued bombing multiple areas in the Gaza Strip, particularly focusing on Khan Younis, resulting in the loss of several lives and dozens of injuries.
Artillery shelling targeted various parts of Khan Younis, specifically in the eastern and northern regions of the city. Tragically, one Palestinian lost their life, and others were injured when the home of the Abu Hatab family, located near Bilal Mosque to the west of Khan Younis, was bombed.
Additionally, another individual was martyred in an Israeli airstrike that struck the Qaizan Rashwan neighborhood, along with other areas in the southeast and center of the city.

Furthermore, the central region of the Gaza Strip experienced explosions amid intensified bombardment by Israeli aircraft and artillery raids.
Late on Sunday, medical sources reported that a group of Palestinians near the Dawla roundabout in the al-Zaytun neighborhood, east of Gaza, were martyred, and others injured following occupation airstrikes.
In the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, an occupation drone targeted a house, resulting in numerous injuries, most of whom were children. Additionally, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital received several injuries due to Israeli targets in the Nuseirat camp.
As the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip persisted, the number of martyrs surpassed 21,800, with 56,000 reported injuries, the majority being children and women. The toll also includes thousands of missing persons, representing an immeasurable humanitarian crisis.
A recap of operations
At dawn on Sunday, Israeli occupation forces reportedly raided the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, as well as the Askar camp in Nablus in the northern West Bank with a significant number of forces. Local media sources also reported that the Israeli occupation deployed a drone to bombard the vicinity of a street in Tulkarm, resulting in injuries to two Palestinian youths, one of whom sustained critical injuries.
Earlier reports confirmed that the Israeli occupation had the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm surrounded as it called for backup to storm the camp amid ongoing confrontations and sounds of explosions. Israeli occupation forces heavily deployed tear gas at one of the northern entrances to the city of al-Khalil, and they had the Thabet Thabet hospital in Tulkarm surrounded, sources told Al Mayadeen.
Sources said occupation forces raided the village of Telfit, south of Nablus, and the village of Iraq Burin, southwest of the city, IOF troops raided several homes.
