Former PM Bennett: big picture is harsh and difficult to comprehend
In the wake of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the Israeli media is discussing increasing frustration among settler families in the Gaza envelope.
Former Prime Minister of the Israeli Occupation, Naftali Bennett, in the wake of the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood operation, told Channel 12 during an interview conducted earlier today that “Israel” must asses all arenas as though they were part of a single battle.
Bennett said "The big picture is harsh and difficult to comprehend," adding that "we must look at all arenas as a single battle, whether it is Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or Iran, they are one enemy."
For his part, Channel 13 correspondent, Almog Boker, confirmed that "the pictures on the roads leading to Sderot, 35 hours later, are unbelievable," speaking of "non-stop shooting, bullets penetrating cars, and bodies still lying on the road."

The Israeli correspondent stated that "regarding the number of 600 dead, it is very far from the real number of what happened here, and the bottom line is that the numbers are much higher," pointing out that "the army does not tell us the whole truth about what is happening inside these towns."
Meanwhile, the Israeli media spoke of growing anger and frustration among the families of the Gaza envelope settlements and the families of missing and detained Israelis.
Moreover, the Israeli media quoted one of the injured Israelis as asking: “Where is the Israeli army, where is the great, accursed air force, where is the government, where is Netanyahu, and where is the chief of staff? You are zeros and your words are worth nothing.”
On the other hand, a settler whose wife was kidnapped said “I do not understand where everyone is. I do not see responsibility being taken, I only see neglect.”
'Hell in the South', another Israeli failure in October: Israeli media
Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is topping the headlines in Israeli newspapers on Sunday, with the narrative focusing on "Israel's" failure to confront the Palestinian Resistance, while the situation today has been compared to the 1973 October War, 50 years ago.
In its editorial, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper described the Palestinian Resistance's operation as "the October 2023 failure," adding that hundreds of Israelis were killed while dozens were kidnapped and transferred to Gaza.
"Israel" Hayom described the recent escalation as "hell in the South," comparing "Israel's" failure in curbing the Palestinian operation to its failure during the October War.
The Maariv newspaper said 50 years after the October War, "Israel" was caught off guard again, while The Jerusalem Post claimed in its editorial that Hamas launched a "deadly invasion".
In addition, Haaretz held Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for "the catastrophe that befell Israel."
