The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that hospitals received the bodies of 50 martyrs and 184 injuries over 24 hours. Many victims remain trapped beneath debris and along roads, unreachable due to continued bombardment.
Since October 7, 2023, as of September 29, 2025, the death toll of the Israeli genocide in Gaza has surged to 66,055 Palestinians, in addition to 168,346 injuries.
Since March 18, 2025, the toll has risen to 13,187 Palestinians killed and 56,305 wounded.
Moreover, as the Israeli-made famine looms over Gaza, 5 starving Palestinians were killed since early morning, and over 48 were injured while trying to receive aid at alleged "aid distribution sites" and were later transported to hospitals, as per the Ministry's report.
The death toll among Palestinians killed while seeking food aid in designated distribution zones has now climbed to 2,571, with more than 18,817 others wounded, according to the report.
The Israeli genocide is ongoing
Israeli occupation forces continued their relentless bombardment of the Gaza Strip overnight, killing at least 40 Palestinians and wounding dozens more, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
In Gaza City, airstrikes leveled residential homes in the al-Rimal and al-Sabra neighborhoods, leaving families buried under the rubble. Civil Defense teams reported difficulty reaching trapped Palestinians amid ongoing shelling.
Further south, in Khan Younis, Israeli warplanes bombed the vicinity of the European Gaza Hospital, killing several people and injuring medical staff. Witnesses confirmed that tanks also advanced into nearby districts, firing artillery shells indiscriminately.

Six Palestinians were killed overnight by Israeli gunfire near the Morag axis south of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat said it received three casualties, including a young girl, after Israeli occupation forces targeted Palestinians attempting to flee via al-Rashid Street.
In the central Gaza Strip, a strike targeted tents sheltering displaced Palestinians near al-Maghazi refugee camp, resulting in numerous casualties, mostly women and children.
Targeting of medical infrastructure
The Ministry of Health in Gaza condemned the repeated targeting of hospitals and medical workers, stressing that the health system is on the verge of total collapse.
It reiterated that Israeli occupation forces are deliberately obstructing rescue operations, further worsening the humanitarian crisis.
According to the Ministry, more than 350 medical personnel remain in Israeli custody, with rights groups denied access to verify their conditions.
The relentless bombardment comes amid intensifying attacks across the Strip, aiming to forcibly displace Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip.
