According to the ministry, emergency and civil defense teams continue to face serious challenges in reaching those trapped under collapsed buildings and stranded on roads, with relentless Israeli bombardment hampering rescue operations.

Since the start of the Israeli assault on October 7, 2023, the total death toll in Gaza has risen to 55,706, with 130,101 people reported injured. The Health Ministry also noted that from March 18, 2025, to date, 5,401 Palestinians have been killed and 18,060 wounded during the escalation.
As of Thursday morning, hospitals have received at least 12 bodies of Palestinians killed while waiting for humanitarian aid, along with over 172 injuries sustained in the same incidents.
Massacres await the starved in Gaza
On Wednesday, at least 69 Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces across the Gaza Strip, including 29 starved civilians waiting for food aid, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported, in what has become a harrowing daily massacre.
The killings reportedly occur near a facility operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a controversial aid mechanism established under US sponsorship and directly coordinated with Israeli occupation forces.
The GHF has become a centerpiece of a new, militarized aid model imposed after "Israel" partially eased its three-month siege. However, this model has increasingly been linked to mass killings, sparking outrage from humanitarian organizations and Palestinians alike.
Concurrently, Gaza’s Civil Defense announced the retrieval of 15 bodies of Palestinian martyrs from the al-Sudaniya area in northern Gaza, victims who had reportedly been awaiting aid five days earlier when invading Israeli units slaughtered them.
The retrieval came only after repeated coordination efforts with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Several individuals remain unaccounted for, with search operations ongoing.
Seven Palestinians were killed and several others were wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians near al-Taqwa Mosque in the al-Bureij refugee camp, located in central Gaza. Another Israeli strike in the al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City killed three Palestinians near al-Shurafa roundabout, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
