The Palestinian Resistance launches rockets toward the settlements of the Gaza Strip, including "Nir Am" and "Sderot".
A large number of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip toward the occupied Palestinian territories, and the Israeli occupation's Iron Dome system tried to intercept the projectiles, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
The Israeli Emergency Alert System sirens sounded in a number of settlements in the Gaza Envelope, including "Nir Am" and "Sderot", amid a state of panic among Israeli settlers.

"Five rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip toward Sderot and the Gaza envelope," Israeli media reported.
This comes after the Israeli occupation waged aggression on the Jenin refugee camp for nearly two days, culminating in the death of 13 Palestinians and wounding dozens of others. The Israeli occupation forces also arrested 120 Palestinians from the camp since the start of the aggression.
The Palestinian people are returning to the Jenin camp after the occupation forces withdrew from it, and the resistance fighters are roaming the streets, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported early Wednesday.
Several Israeli media outlets reported, quoting a spokesman for the Israeli occupation forces, that "Israeli forces have begun withdrawing from Jenin."
The Israeli occupation forces began to leave the camp shortly after 9 PM on Tuesday, Israeli Channel 7 and Channel 13 reported.
Palestinian freedom fighters attacked the Israeli occupation forces using IEDs and took up arms against them, with one of the explosive devices destroying an armored vehicle, which resulted in several confirmed casualties among the Israeli occupation forces, a field commander in the Al-Quds Brigades in the Jenin refugee camp told Al Mayadeen on Tuesday.
Moreover, the Palestinian military commander commented on Israeli reports regarding a partial IOF withdrawal from the vicinity of the Jenin refugee camp, saying the resistance does not take into consideration the news about the withdrawal. "We call on the resistance fighters to be cautious, not to disperse, and to follow the instructions of the leadership of the Jenin Brigade."
An Israeli occupation forces spokesperson said an Israeli soldier from the Egoz Israeli elite military unit was killed after getting shot in the chest during the battle of the Fury of Jenin.
