The Ministry of Health in Gaza said hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 123 martyrs and 437 wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Since October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached 61,722, with 154,525 wounded. From March 18, 2025, until today, 10,201 people have been killed and 42,484 injured.

The Ministry added that among the casualties in the past 24 hours were 21 martyrs and 185 wounded in aid-related incidents, bringing the total "breadwinner martyrs" to 1,859 and over 13,594 injured.

Hospitals also recorded eight deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, including three children. The total number of such deaths now stands at 235, among them 106 children.

Famine claims the lives of 5 Palestinians in the past 24 hours

According to a Tuesday statement by the ministry, the deaths resulting from the famine in Gaza reflect the deepening malnutrition crisis, which the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) has now confirmed as active famine in most of the Strip. Additionally, two out of three famine thresholds have been breached, affecting more than 2 million Palestinians.

Nearly 12,000 children under the age of five are suffering from acute malnutrition, the highest monthly figure ever recorded. Additionally, more than 2,500 are experiencing severe acute malnutrition, the most life-threatening stage. Moreover, in Gaza City, one in five children is now acutely malnourished, a rate that has tripled since June 2025.

The same day, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes and artillery bombardments, targeting residential areas across the Gaza Strip and killing at least 13 Palestinians.
