On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement commemorating the leader’s enduring role in supporting the Palestinian cause and resisting the occupation.

The movement recalled September 27 as the day the Israeli entity assassinated Sayyed Nasrallah along with a constellation of Resistance leaders, in an attempt to weaken the Lebanese Resistance and halt its support for the Palestinian struggle.

Hamas praised Sayyed Nasrallah's heroic and honorable stances, underscoring his steadfast support for the Palestinian Resistance throughout the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood battle.

The statement emphasized that the sacrifices of the Lebanese Resistance, and the blood of its martyrs, are interwoven with those of the Palestinian people on the path to liberating Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine.

Assassinations will not break the resistance

The movement stressed that the Israeli entity’s long history of assassinations has never succeeded in breaking the will of the Resistance or extinguishing its spirit.

“Rather, they have made it stronger, more formidable, and more determined to adhere to its principles until its aspirations for the liberation of land and holy sites are achieved,” Hamas declared.

Hamas expressed full solidarity with Lebanon as it confronts ongoing Israeli aggression, wishing the country permanent security and stability. The movement called on Arab and Islamic states to stand with Lebanon during this critical stage, to reinforce its steadfastness, and to unify the Arab position in support of the just causes of the nation.
