Hezbollah's media relations issued a statement denying Le Figaro's claims concerning the "secrets of Operation Al Aqsa Flood."
"We consider the information in the article pure fiction with no basis, aiming to undermine the absolute trust between the resistance movements and factions across the region. These groups are committed openly and practically to resisting the Zionist occupation," the statement read.
Furthermore, Hezbollah reiterated Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah's previous affirmations that the operation was purely Palestinian. The planning, preparation, execution, timing, and objectives were all Palestinian, and Hezbollah did not know of it.
The statement was concluded with Hezbollah calling out Le Figaro's bias toward the enemy as confirmed by its claims, as well as its lack of moral principles and ethics for a journal, "much like many Western media outlets that sided with the oppressor at the expense of truth, facts, and human values."

In this regard, Le Figaro had claimed that the Lebanese Resistance chief, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, "was informed of Hamas' plans to launch a multi-pronged attack... half an hour before the start of the attack on October 7."
The report also claimed that senior Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri, who resides in Lebanon, received a phone call on the morning of October 7, informing him of the impending operation, and he was asked to inform the Hezbollah leader.
The Power of the Resistance is much greater today
Hezbollah has opened a resistance front at the Palestinian-Lebanese border and has joined efforts with the Palestinian Resistance the day after Operation Al Aqsa Flood was kickstarted.
In the latest developments, Hezbollah revealed that all scenarios [for war] are possible, noting that they are ready for anything.
The Israeli occupation's escalation is an attempt to create "what it considers a deterrent factor," but the power of the Resistance today is much greater than what it was in the past, Hassan Fadlallah, a member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, told Al Mayadeen on Wednesday.
Fadlallah pointed out that the occupation targeted residential homes where there was no military activity, asking, "What achievement does this represent?"
He affirmed that "the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon determines the [nature of the] response" to the Israeli aggressions on the country and that it will carefully study how to deal with the escalation.
