Hezbollah foils Israeli ambush near 'Hanita'
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon bombs several Israeli military sites in northern occupied Palestine as the Resistance still carries out operations in support of the Resistance in Gaza.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah continues to carry out its operations against Israeli occupation sites and assembly points on the border with occupied Palestine in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in support of their Resistance.
The resistance announced that it had targeted a hostile group that had set up an ambush, east of the "Hanita" site, with artillery fire. The attack caused a high count of casualties after the soldiers were closely monitored and the ambush was discovered.
Hezbollah also launched an air attack using a kamikaze drone on the Ras al-Naqoura naval site, confirming that it had hit its target accurately.
Hezbollah fighters also targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the "Hadb Yaroun" site with Burkan rockets.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon targeted the Rouweisat al-Alam site in the occupied Kfar Chouba hills, and the Zibdine barracks in the occupied Shebaa Farms, accurately striking both.
In northern occupied Palestine, sirens sounded in the northern settlements of "Dishon", "Yiftah", Malkiyah, and "Ramot Naftali", after Israeli media reported that a drone was suspected of having infiltrated the area.
Israeli media added that sirens also sounded in the settlements of "Hanita", "Yaara" and "Admit".
In parallel, Israeli airstrikes continue against Lebanese villages and towns in the south, with Israeli artillery shelling again targeting the outskirts of the town of Khiyam and the Khiyam plain adjacent to the "Metula" settlement, and the Talet al-Hamames hill in the vicinity of the town.
An Israeli airstrike also targeted the town of Adaisseh, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
This comes after sources within the Israeli occupation forces, cited by Israeli media outlet Haaretz, have acknowledged that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah succeeded in downing an Israeli Kochav drone, otherwise known as the Elbit-Systems-manufactured Hermes 900 drone.
The sources in the army stated on Monday that this "is happening for the first time," emphasizing that Hezbollah's downing of the Hermes 900 is a reminder that "Israeli army drones are not immune."
In this context, Haaretz recognized Hezbollah's air defense capabilities, which allowed it to shoot down Israeli drones, including not only the Kochav but also a Zik drone, otherwise known as Hermes 450 drone, which was downed back in February.
According to various reports, Hezbollah's anti-aircraft system consists of, among other things, a combination of heavy gunfire and shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles (MANPADS), such as the Strela-2 and Igla missiles, which operate at medium to high altitudes.
The newspaper speculated that the targeting of the drone could be through a Saqr 358 missile, but it remained that the International Institute for Strategic Studies pointed out that "Hezbollah has not yet disclosed its possession of additional long-range anti-aircraft systems."
