Forsaking Gaza won't spare Lebanon the ills of the war: Hezbollah MP
The MP explains that the "element of surprise" has long been a decisive factor in the IOF's wars, but now they cannot surprise Lebanon with a preemptive strike.
Commenting on circulated narratives of neutrality, MP Hassan Fadlallah of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc said that opting for neutrality from the war in Gaza as Lebanese wouldn't spare the nation the consequences of the war.
The IOF's element of surprise
"The resistance is vigilant, present, and ready, the enemy cannot surprise us with a preemptive strike, we are already ahead," Fadlalahh said during the funeral processions of the Lebanese southerner woman, Nohad Mohanna, who was martyred as a result of Israeli shelling targetting her house.
Fadlallah explained that the "element of surprise" has long been a decisive factor in the Israeli Occupation's wars against Arab states, Lebanon, and the Palestinians. However, in this war, he noted, "the element of surprise was the first target we had taken out".
Military finesse on the battlefront
"This war waged by the Islamic resistance against the occupation forces on its southern borders has its standards, equations, methods, and weapons."
The Lebanese MP noted that the battle along the southern borders was waged with utmost might, valor, and precision for the sake of triumphing the people of Gaza, preventing the IOF from fulfilling its objectives, as well as preventing Israeli aggression against Lebanon and making it clear to the Israelis that "they will meet nothing in Lebanon but defeat".
Fadlallah affirmed that the resistance has studied the enemy's drills and military exercises and is well prepared for them.
Every operation conducted by the resistance against the Israeli Occupation followed meticulous deliberation, and every retaliation was well planned, he added.
Gaza is not alone
Finally, he underlined the regional stakes in the war. The stability on the Lebanese, Yemeni, Iraqi, and Syrian fronts is conditioned on a cessation of the aggression in Gaza.
"If the United States does not want the war to expand and does not want the confrontation to persist on all fronts, its only chance is stopping the aggression against Gaza."

'Israel' lacks the capability to dictate terms to Lebanon, Gaza
Earlier this month, MP Hassan Fadlallah, a Member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, told Al Mayadeen that "Israel does not have the upper hand on the battlefield," confirming that "the victory of Gaza will be for the entire nation."
"The battlefield is what controls the overall course of this confrontation," he said.
He affirmed that "Israel" is not in a position to impose conditions on Lebanon, adding that it is committing murder in Gaza, yet it lacks the ability to dictate its terms there too.
"We do not receive threats or instructions, as the Resistance is in control of the initiative and dictates the situation on the ground," he added.
