Hunter Biden to face 6-10 criminal referrals by House of Reps
Chairman James Comer says he anticipates filing "between six and 10 criminal referrals" to include evidence that Hunter violated the Mann Act, which bans transporting women across state lines for the purpose of prostitution or other illegal sexual acts.
The US House Oversight and Accountability Committee chairman James Comer confirms plans to file more than six criminal referrals against US President Joe Biden's son Hunter, who despite agreeing to a plea deal with federal prosecutors on two minor tax crimes and a gun case last month, remains in deep water.
This week, Comer said he anticipates filing "between six and 10 criminal referrals" with the Justice Department and that the list would include evidence that Hunter violated the Mann Act, which bans the transportation of women across state lines for the purpose of prostitution or other illegal sexual acts.
Comer believes that Georgia Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene displayed sufficient evidence on Wednesday that proves the violation of the Mann Act.
"She showed the plane tickets, she showed the pictures, she showed the evidence. You know, there’s no question he violated it. That’s another thing that he could have been charged with," Comer told an unnamed American broadcaster.
Greene had testified at the House Oversight Committee hearing last week, claiming that the president's son violated the Mann Act. "This was prostitution," she noted after having shown partially censored pictures taken from sex tapes filmed by Hunter and later found on his infamous "laptop from hell."
Holding up several placards showing Hunter Biden engaging in sexual activity, Greene said they were evidence of the President's son making pornography.

'Paying one Biden, and another'
That same day and in the same hearing, IRS whistleblowers, Supervisory IRS Special Agent Gary Shapley, and IRS Criminal Investigator Joseph Ziegler, accused the Biden family of accepting millions from foreign entities.
Ziegler claimed to have discovered Hunter and his business associates receiving $17 million from foreign sources, which include $7.3 million from Ukrainian energy company Burisma, and both whistleblowers described how the Justice Department hindered their investigation to protect Hunter from prosecution.
Potential criminal referrals that may be included could also be the violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) for lobbying foreign interests without registering under the act.
On Thursday, Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley provided an unclassified FBI memo that Ukrainian gas firm Burisma hired Hunter to use his father's influence to help the firm stop a probe into its potentially corrupt transactions. A confidential source cited in the memo claimed that "[I]t cost $5 (million) to pay one Biden, and $5 (million) to another Biden" to carry it out.
Supervisory IRS Special Agent Shapley claimed that Hunter allegedly persuaded his father to try and force his Chinese counterpart into giving him a heavy sum of money, citing an apparent WhatsApp message from Hunter with threats against Harvest Fund Management's Director Henry Zhao.

"I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction," the message stated, which was sent on July 30, 2017.
Shortly after that text, Hunter's firm Hudson West III received $5.1 million from his Chinese associates.
Comer expressed: "[Hunter Biden] was money laundering. He was racketeering. He committed wire fraud. He violated the Mann Act. The list goes on and on and on," as he pledged to resolve Biden's alleged corruption case.
Hunter Biden will appear before a judge on July 26, when he is expected to accept a plea deal. His lawyer said in an interview with MSNBC earlier that if the judge accepts the plea deal, his client will not be subjected to further charges.
