IOF arrest several in West Bank, including al-Arida's brother
Israeli occupation forces raid different areas in the occupied West Bank and arrest several Palestinians.
Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of Palestinian prisoner Mahmoud al-Arida, the mastermind behind Operation Freedom Tunnel, in the village of Arraba in Jenin, and arrested his brother, freed prisoner Shaddad, in Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
At dawn Wednesday, occupation forces raided different areas in the Occupied West Bank and arrested several Palestinians. The raiding forces stormed the southern area of Mount Karbaj in the Occupied city of al-Khalil.
On Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces assaulted an elderly Palestinian by beating him on the chest and shoulder outside his house in the Arroub camp, north of al-Khalil, while the elderly was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In the same context, the occupation forces arrested Palestinian youth Mohammad Ashraf Ammar, from the town of Qaffin, northeast of Tulkarm, as well as the two brothers, Jawad and Majdi al-Kazha, after surrounding their house in the town of Qabatiya.
The raiding forces also carried out a massive arrest campaign in the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, as Palestinian youths confronted Israeli settlers' vehicles near the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.
At the entrance to Forik, east of Nablus, Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets and stun grenades during confrontations with Palestinian youths.
Local sources reported that Palestinian youths threw an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) toward the illegal "Psagot" settlement, east of Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.
Likewise, the occupation forces carried out massive incursions into the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in search of the shooters who carried out the Huwara operation, in which two illegal Israeli settlers were injured on Tuesday.
Following the operation, Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the military checkpoints around the city of Nablus and prevented the medical staff from heading to the town through the Huwara checkpoint.
Several Israeli media outlets have conveyed that one of the wounded individuals sustained a gunshot wound to the head. According to Israeli Channel 12, the shooting incident occurred in Huwara and involved a speeding Palestinian vehicle that quickly left the area.
