A video circulated on social media showed the 12-year-old child running with a group of children before being executed in cold blood by an Israeli sniper.
Additionally, eight Palestinians were injured, one by live fire, and three agricultural facilities were set ablaze during a settler attack on the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
The Israeli assault on the West Bank has also led to the displacement of 29 Palestinian communities, comprising 311 families, amounting to around 2,000 individuals, between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2024, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
IOF intensify detention campaign in occupied West Bank
Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale detention campaign across various cities and towns in the occupied West Bank early Wednesday morning, escalating ongoing aggression against Palestinians.
During the incursions, Israeli forces detained more than 15 Palestinian detainees, including former prisoner Hanan al-Barghouthi from the village of Kaubar, north of Ramallah. The detentions extended to al-Dhahiriya, south of al-Khalil, where the forces turned one of the homes into a military outpost.
In Tulkarm, a unit of the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by two bulldozers, stormed the eastern area of the Dhanaba neighborhood and detonated an object on Iskan hill near the Nour Shams refugee camp, according to Palestinian media.
Meanwhile, in Nablus, occupation forces withdrew from the town of Beit Furik, east of the city, after a five-hour incursion marked by explosions. During the operation, two Palestinian youths, Laith Bashar Nasasrah and Fouad Ziyad Nasasrah, were detained after their homes were stormed and ransacked.
House demolitions, land leveling in al-Quds, Salfit
In occupied al-Quds, Israeli bulldozers carried out demolition operations in the town of al-Jib, northwest of the city. Additionally, the forces razed farmlands between the villages of Haris and Kifl Haris, west of Salfit, as part of an ongoing policy of land leveling in Salfit, aimed at stripping the land from its rightful owners.
These actions are part of a broader pattern of Israeli aggression against Palestinians, characterized by systematic detentions, home demolitions, and land confiscations, aimed at imposing new realities on the ground across the West Bank.
