Araghchi: Iran adopted a constructive approach in its engagement to ensure the European Union and the E3 fully honored their commitments and lifted all sanctions.
Araghchi: After a year of Iran’s full compliance with the agreement, it began implementing gradual, proportionate, and reversible compensatory steps in accordance with its recognized rights under the deal.
Araghchi: Iran demonstrated the utmost restraint in the face of repeated and fundamental violations and made extensive efforts to restore balance and preserve the agreement.
In his letter, Araghchi stated: The E3 failed to fulfill their obligations and instead imposed additional illegal sanctions on Iranian individuals and institutions.
Araghchi: These coercive measures constituted a grave violation of international law and the UN Charter, causing severe disruption in the implementation of the agreement.
Araghchi: Washington initially refrained from fulfilling its commitments, then withdrew from the agreement, reimposed its illegal and unilateral sanctions, and even expanded them.
Araghchi: UN Security Council Resolution 2231 has expired and fully ceased to be in effect as of today, in accordance with its explicit provisions.

On the 112th day of its aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation targeted residential neighborhoods in various areas and murdered journalist Iyad Ahmed al-Rawag.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported on Friday morning, on the 112th day of the Israeli aggression, that 11 Palestinians were martyred as a result of the occupation raids that targeted a house in the al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Journalist Iyad Ahmed al-Rawag, a reporter and presenter on Al-Aqsa Voice Radio, died alongside members of his family after his house was targeted in the al-Hasayna area in the al-Nuseirat camp.

As for Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, the occupation forces targeted the Nasser Medical Complex, and Quadcopter aircraft fired in its vicinity. On that note, our correspondent confirmed that the occupation forces destroyed a new residential neighborhood in the area, adding that in the past hours, 70 martyrs arrived at hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip.

Concerning the humanitarian and health crisis in Gaza, particularly in camps and displacement centers, the Palestinian Environmental Quality Authority has reported that 66% of the population in the Gaza Strip is grappling with diseases transmitted by contaminated water.

Continuous aggression on Khan Younis

Earlier on Thursday, Fourteen were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombing on the “Sina'a al-Wikalah” building, an educational building affiliated with UNRWA, which currently houses a large number of displaced people in Khan Younis. According to reports, Palestinians had to bury bodies on-site due to the challenges faced by ambulance crews in reaching the location.

Moreover, the Israeli airstrikes in the area specifically targeted the Nasser Medical Complex, the vicinity of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, UNRWA centers, the area around a school housing displaced people in the Emirati neighborhood, and the al-Amal neighborhood. These attacks resulted in the tragic loss of more than 50 Palestinians.

Death toll reaches 25,900 

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudra, released the latest death toll in the Gaza Strip, on Thursday, January 25, 2023.

The Ministry confirmed that the Israeli occupation has killed 25,900 Palestinians, and injured 64,110 others since it launched its aggression on the Gaza Strip. Moreover, the spokesperson said the Israeli occupation committed 21 massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip in only 24 hours, killing 200 and injuring 370.
