Iran arrests two ISIS-K members mid-infiltration attempt in Qom
Iranian security forces have successfully arrested two ISIS terrorists attempting to enter a holy shrine in the city of Qom.
Iranian media, citing Iranian security, reported the arrests of two takfiri terrorists in an infiltration attempt into a holy shrine in the city of Qom.
Iranian security forces belonging to the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Intelligence Corps reportedly successfully foiled an infiltration attempt into the shrine of Fatima Al-Maasoumah and captured the perpetrators, two ISIS-Khorasan members.

Earlier this year, Iran's Ministry of Intelligence announced the arrest of Mohammad Imran Tanveer, one of the leaders of ISIS-Khorasan, a demolitions specialist, stating that investigations against him are still ongoing.
In addition, the Iranian Ministry of Security published a photo of Mohammad Adel Aref, called “Adel Panjshiri,” one of the senior terrorists involved in the terrorist attack in Kerman, confirming that he fled to the west of the Iranian capital, Tehran, after the operation.
In the Iranian city of Kerman, more than 93 people were killed in an explosion that rocked the city on January 3 as Iranians flooded the streets marching toward the cemetery where Martyred Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, General Qassem Soleimani was laid to rest on the 4th anniversary of his martyrdom.
