Iran engages in regional diplomacy to address Syrian crisis
Speaking at the Doha Forum, Irani's Foreign Minister reaffirmed the importance of ongoing discussions and cooperation among neighboring countries.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Saturday reiterated Iran's commitment to fostering regional collaboration on Syria, focusing on shared priorities such as supporting the Syrian people, maintaining territorial integrity, and preserving national unity.
Speaking at the Doha Forum, Araghchi reaffirmed the importance of ongoing discussions and cooperation among neighboring countries.
The Doha Forum is an annual event attended by global leaders that provides a platform for dialogue on political, economic, and scientific matters.
Araghchi took the opportunity to address regional issues and engage in bilateral meetings with key officials, including Turkey's Foreign Minister and Qatar's Emir.

Talks on Syria's stability
In his meetings with regional leaders, Araghchi discussed strategies to support Syria during its ongoing challenges.
He reaffirmed the importance of preventing destabilizing developments in the region and explored ways to collaborate in strengthening Syria's sovereignty as an Arab state.
"These discussions are vital for ensuring the future stability of Syria and the region," Araghchi said, noting that the parties are currently exchanging views and consulting on the next steps.
Araghchi announced that the foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, and Turkey would soon convene for the Astana Process meeting, aimed at advancing diplomatic solutions for the war on Syria.
Additionally, Araghchi referenced a recent trilateral meeting in Baghdad involving officials from Iran, Iraq, and Syria.
The discussions reinforced commitments to preventing Syria from being overrun by terrorist groups while continuing to support its government and people during the crisis.
