Iranian FM: 'Israel' in its worst conditions, Resistance in best form
The Iranian Foreign Minister during his visit to Beirut reiterates the Islamic Republic's readiness to assist Lebanon in solving its fuel and electricity problems.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian confirmed, during a press conference today at the end of his visit to Beirut, that Saudi Arabia is not yet ready to normalize relations with Iran.
"We have so far conducted 5 rounds of talks with Saudi Arabia in Baghdad, and we are ready to restore relations," he added.
He noted, furthermore, that "the negotiations that Tehran is conducting with Riyadh in Baghdad are good, and are recording progress."

Iran's top diplomat said that, in addition to bilateral dialogues, security talks were taking place as well between Tehran and Riyadh.
Amir-Abdollahian believed that "the normal relations between Tehran and Riyadh do not reflect positively on the two countries only, but on the entire region as well."
Saudi Arabia cut ties with Iran in January 2016, after protesters attacked its Embassy in Tehran and consulate in the city of Mashhad following Riyadh's execution of Sheikh Nimr Al-Nimr.
Tehran is ready to establish two electricity production plants in Lebanon
With regard to Lebanon, the Iranian Foreign Minister affirmed his country's readiness to secure fuel to operate the electricity plants through an agreement between the two countries.

"Tehran is ready to establish two power production plants in Beirut and South Lebanon, with a capacity of 1,000 megawatts each."
In this context, he referred to the special attention that his country has toward solving the fuel problem that Lebanon suffers from.
He reiterated Tehran's readiness to assist in this matter "when the Lebanese government decides its willingness to do so."
He pointed out that "there are some countries, such as Iraq, that were able to exclude themselves from the US sanctions in order to obtain Iranian gas."

Tehran will not abandon its red lines
Amir-Abdollahian said the US sanctions against his country are unfair and unilateral, stressing that Tehran will not give up its red lines regarding obtaining its legitimate rights.
He also pointed to Washington's exploitation of the death of Mahsa Amini in order to weaken the Islamic Republic.

The Zionist entity is going through the most difficult circumstances
Regarding his meeting today with the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Iran's Foreign Minister said a number of "general issues were discussed, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause."
"The Zionist entity is going through the most difficult circumstances, and the Resistance, whether in Palestine or Lebanon, is in its best form."
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah received on Friday the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani.
In a statement, Hezbollah indicated that during the meeting, Sayyed Nasrallah and Amir-Abdollahian reviewed the latest developments and the political situation in Lebanon, Palestine, and the region, especially the "possible threats arising from the formation of a government of corrupt people and extremists" in the Israeli occupation, as well as the stances of the Resistance movements and the entire Axis of Resistance in the face of regional and international developments and events.
According to the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan, the foreign minister of Iran is supposed to arrive Saturday in Damascus. The Iranian Minister arrived in Beirut on Thursday evening on an official visit.
He is also scheduled to head to Moscow next week to meet his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in order to discuss resuming the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear agreement, in addition to a free trade area agreement between Iran and Russia.
