Iranians thwarting Zionist plots: Kermanshah Imam
The Jum'ah Imam in Kermanshah, Iran, tells Al Mayadeen that the unity of the Iranian people is the reason why the Islamic Revolution succeeded.
The Jum'ah imam of the Sunni people in Kermanshah, Iran, Mamosta Mulla Abd Al-Rahman Moradi, stressed Monday that stability and security prevailed in his city.
"The Iranian people being united is the reason why the Islamic Revolution succeeded in Iran," Mulla Abd Al-Rahman Moradi said, noting that the Iranian people of all sects support the Islamic Revolution.
"Iranians of all sects defend the state against the conspiracies of the enemies and the Zionists," the Imam said. "The scholars are trying to unveil the enemies' plots, and there is no difference between the people and the government."

"There must be dialogue to solve economic and other problems," he continued. "Certain parties getting paid from outside is not in our favor, and we must not allow those with malicious goals to achieve them."
Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence chief, Colonel Nader Bayrami, was assassinated last month in the city of Sahneh in Kermanshah province at the hands of rioters.
"During a ceremony in the city of Sahneh, a number of rioters and thugs created chaos and attacked the security forces with white arms," Governor of Sahneh Jahanbakhsh Zanganeh Tabar in an interview with IRNA.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian accused "Israel" and Western intelligence agencies of planning to divide Iran and ignite a civil war, stressing that the Iranians would not be deceived by such plans.
Amir-Abdollahian said addressing the enemies of Iran that are planning on igniting a civil war in the Islamic Republic and dividing its nation that they must be aware that "Iran is not Libya or Sudan."

In the same context on the same day, the commander of the IRGC Major General Hossein Salami stated that the country is facing a big conspiracy by enemies that are angered by the Iranian nation and who are collaborating with some individuals that are being deceived.
On another note, an Al Mayadeen correspondent quoted security sources as saying that the rioters have started a new phase of a movement aimed at igniting an internal armed war in Iran.
