BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

The Jum'ah imam of the Sunni people in Kermanshah, Iran, Mamosta Mulla Abd Al-Rahman Moradi, stressed Monday that stability and security prevailed in his city.

"The Iranian people being united is the reason why the Islamic Revolution succeeded in Iran," Mulla Abd Al-Rahman Moradi said, noting that the Iranian people of all sects support the Islamic Revolution.

"Iranians of all sects defend the state against the conspiracies of the enemies and the Zionists," the Imam said. "The scholars are trying to unveil the enemies' plots, and there is no difference between the people and the government."

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence chief, Colonel Nader Bayrami, was assassinated last month in the city of Sahneh in Kermanshah province at the hands of rioters.

"During a ceremony in the city of Sahneh, a number of rioters and thugs created chaos and attacked the security forces with white arms," Governor of Sahneh Jahanbakhsh Zanganeh Tabar in an interview with IRNA.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian accused "Israel" and Western intelligence agencies of planning to divide Iran and ignite a civil war, stressing that the Iranians would not be deceived by such plans.

Amir-Abdollahian said addressing the enemies of Iran that are planning on igniting a civil war in the Islamic Republic and dividing its nation that they must be aware that "Iran is not Libya or Sudan."

In the same context on the same day, the commander of the IRGC Major General Hossein Salami stated that the country is facing a big conspiracy by enemies that are angered by the Iranian nation and who are collaborating with some individuals that are being deceived.

On another note, an Al Mayadeen correspondent quoted security sources as saying that the rioters have started a new phase of a movement aimed at igniting an internal armed war in Iran.
