Iraqi PM Announces Capturing Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi's Deputy
Iraqi PM Mustafa al-Kadhimi reveals Iraqi security forces and intelligence service have successfully captured the deputy of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Sami Jasim.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi announced on Monday the capture of ISIS' Chief of Finance and the deputy of the organization's former leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Al-Kadhimi tweeted, "While our ISF heroes focused on securing the elections, their INIS colleagues were conducting a complex external operation to capture Sami Jasim, who was in charge of Daesh finance, and a deputy of Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. Long live Iraq, and our brave heroes."

The Iraqi PM had revealed yesterday, after casting his vote in the parliamentary elections, that he will announce a "major security achievement on Monday."
Iraq's Security Media Cell announced that the criminal was arrested after an operation by the national security forces and intelligence service, which took place beyond the borders.

Jasim is considered one of the world's most wanted terrorists and is close to ISIS' current leader, Abdullah Qardash.
Sami Jasim occupied senior security and financial roles in the terrorist organization, including his role as deputy of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and ISIS Finance Chief.
