Iraqi Resistance attack Israeli targets in 'Eilat'
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says that the group launched the attack in response to the ongoing Israeli war on the people in Gaza.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq declared on Sunday that it had launched an attack on Israeli military targets in 'Eilat' (occupied Umm al-Rashash) and in the Syrian-occupied Golan using appropriate weapons, in response to the ongoing Israeli entity's war on the people in Gaza, including women, chidlren and the elderly.
In a statement, the group reaffirmed that this operation aligns with its ongoing strategy to resist the presence of US occupation forces in Iraq and the broader region, pleding to persist in their strikes "against enemy strongholds."
This comes as the Palestinian Health Ministry announced earlier today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 21,822 martyrs, with 56,451 wounded. Over 70% of the martyrs are women and children.
Moreover, quoting Juliette Touma of the UN Aid Agency UNRWA, the BBC reported on Saturday that over 1.4 million people forcibly displaced by the Israeli aggression are currently residing in UNRWA facilities, primarily repurposed schools.
"Nowhere is safe in Gaza, not the north, not the middle, and not the south," Touma said.

Unwavering commitment
The Iraqi Resistance has consistently emphasized its commitment to targeting the US occupation due to Washington's support for the Israeli occupation and its significant role in the ongoing aggression against Gaza.
Since the commencement of operations in October, US military bases across Syria and Iraq have been targeted in over 110 attacks.
In the past week, the Islamic Resistance has reported conducting several separate operations against US occupation bases, including the al-Shaddadi, and Kharab Al-Jir.
Additionally, Al Mayadeen's sources revealed on Saturday that, in Syria, the US occupation bases in the Conoco oil, Al-Omar oil field, and Rmelan were targeted with drone rockets.
Moreover, the group has claimed responsibility for various operations against Israeli sites and bases, particularly in "Eilat," and notably against the Israeli-operated Karish gas field located off the northern coasts of occupied Palestine, near the Lebanese maritime borders.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has repeatedly warned Washington that its bases in Syria and Iraq are legitimate targets as long as the conflict in Gaza persists.
