Iraqi Resistance targets US Ain al-Assad, Harir bases
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirms its responsibility for an attack on the US Ain al-Assad Base in al-Anbar Governorate.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it targeted the US occupation base of Ain al-Assad in al-Anbar Governorate in western Iraq, in response to Israeli war crimes in Gaza and the US backing of the Israeli occupation.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent then reported that a drone attack targeted American forces at Harir base in Erbil Governorate, which was later claimed by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
US forces and the international coalition were attacked at least 76 times in Iraq and Syria since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, a Pentagon official said on Monday.
The US and international occupation forces came under fire from the Islamic Resistance in the region as the latter sought to show their solidarity with the people of Gaza and all of occupied Palestine, while the US continues to funnel in weapons and equipment to the Israeli occupation.
The Resistance in Iraq affirmed on Sunday that it would remain steadfast in its confrontations against its enemies, promising to intensify its attacks against the US occupation forces, until they are "expelled, humiliated, and defeated from" Iraq.

Coalition forces under threat of Iraqi drones
Earlier on Sunday, Iraq Resistance factions confirmed that they had launched successful drone attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria.
"In response to the crimes that the enemy is committing against our people in Gaza, fighters of the Islamic Resistance of Iraq used a drone to attack the American occupier’s Green Village base in Syria," confirming a direct hit, the Resistance announced in a statement.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq added that its fighters also targeted the US occupation base of Ain al-Assad in western Iraq with a drone.
This followed an earlier missile attack on the US occupation bases in al-Hasakah province in northeastern Syria.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that the Iraqi Resistance factions targeted the US occupation's Kharab al-Jir base in al-Hasakah countryside with seven missiles on December 3.
Al Mayadeen's sources revealed that the attack "occurred a few hours after the first wave of reinforcements arrived at the American base." A US military cargo plane, holding military equipment and weapons, arrived at the Kharab al-Jir airfield, after departing from the US bases in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, according to the sources.
The Resistance in Iraq continues to launch precise and calculated attacks, targeting assets of the world's largest military power, in support of Palestine and its people.
