IRGC ground force conducts large-scale military exercises
Iran conducts ground military drills to improve combat skills in the face of potential threats.
In efforts to improve Iran's IRGC Ground Force operations in combatting security threats, a large-scale, comprehensive exercise held in the Najaf Ashraf Base in Qasr e-Sherine County was executed.
The units and forces participating in the drill put into practice several military strategies aimed at enhancing the skill levels in combat against groups that pose security threats to Iran, mainly anti-Iran Takfiri terrorists.
The exercises consisted of striking hypothetical targets with appropriate weapons, technological and electronic practices of home-manufactured artillery, and stealth operations.
Airborne factions of the IRGC also conducted operations, carrying out their tasks using the appropriate machinery. Just recently, Iran's Army Air Defense Force was equipped with dozens of Karrar drones with air-to-air Majid missiles. The UAV was revealed in a ceremony at Khatam Al-Anbia Air Defense Academy in Tehran on Sunday, with several senior military commanders and Iranian officials in attendance.
The significance of the missile-equipped Karrar drones lies in their ability to intercept and confront airborne objects, as well as hostile targets.

“The [West Asia] region and the whole world are always prone to colonial, domineering and totalitarian policies. The emergence and spread of terrorist and subversive groups are inevitably one of the upshots of such attitudes. Therefore, the preparedness of security forces in the face of such threats remains an absolute and undeniable necessity,” IRGC Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour stated.
Iran has the upper hand in aerial combat
With the strengthening of ground combat through continuous practice, Iran makes it clear that the IRGC is prepared to face and conquer any threat it encounters.
Chief Commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, stated that the recent additions to Iran's Air Defense Force upgraded its strength. “The Army meets its own needs through the cooperation of its scientists with the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, and knowledge-based companies. This is because strengthening the defense power across land, sea, and air borders is an inseparable principle of the Army,” he said in a ceremony that revealed enhanced renditions of the Karrar drones on Sunday.
Mousavi then addressed Iran's enemies, advising them to reconsider their aerial combat strategies as Iran possesses the upper hand in the field. “Enemies oppose Iran's power… Experience has proven that our power drives the enemy to despair,” he emphasized.
