Iran: Two missiles and drones underground bases revealed

Today, Saturday, the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps revealed two bases for missiles and drones, in the presence of the IRGC Commander-in-Chief.

These two bases include surface-to-surface missile systems with advanced equipment, as well as attack drones capable of penetrating enemy air defense and avoiding radars.

The Commander revealed that "the ability to operate and launch missiles has increased by more than six to seven times," adding, "We have significantly reduced the time and distance of preparing and launching missiles."

This is the first time that the IRGC Aerospace Forces have revealed underground drone bases.

Local media reported that "the presence of drones with a range of 2,000 km, dual missile launchers, and multiple missile launchers, which were recently revealed during the Great Prophet 17 maneuvers, show the outstanding effectiveness of these bases in defending and protecting the security of Iran and the Iranian people against any threat."

During the visit of the IRGC Commander-in-Chief, Major General Hossein Salami, to these two bases, the Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Forces, Brigadier General Hajizadeh, presented a report on the new procedures and achievements of these forces.

For his part, Major Salami praised, during the unveiling ceremony of the two new missile and drone bases, the transformational measures that predict the future of technology by the IRGC aerospace forces in strengthening the defensive deterrence strategy of Iran.

At the beginning of last month, the long-range strategic missile Kheibar-Shekan was revealed as the latest strategic Iranian weapon produced by the IRGC’s aerospace force.
