'Israel' deliberately targets journalists, killed 24 so far
Israeli occupation forces continue their cold-blooded executions of Palestinian media professionals, says the Palestine Media Forum.
In a heart-wrenching update, the toll on Palestinian journalists amid relentless Israeli airstrikes on Gaza has surged, with a tragic count of 24 killed since the 7th of October.
The Palestinian Journalist Syndicate strongly condemned the continuous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against people and journalists in Gaza.
In a statement released by the Syndicate, it was noted that 24 journalists, both male and female, have been killed and others have been injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on the 7th of this month. Additionally, family members of journalists have also been killed or injured.

The Syndicate extended its condolences to the families of the five journalist martyrs who were killed yesterday: Salma Makhimer, Saeed al-Halabi, Ahmed Abu Mahadi, Jamal Al-Fiqawi, and the female journalist Duaa Sharaf from the Voice of Al-Aqsa Radio, along with her child, Obeida.
The Syndicate also offered its condolences to colleagues Wael al-Dahdouh and Mohammed al-Farra, who lost family members in targeted Israeli airstrikes on residential homes in Gaza. They also extended their condolences to all the journalists whose family members have been affected by the aggression.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Media Forum, a civil organization dedicated to the affairs of journalists in Gaza, stated that without the slightest regard for international laws, conventions, and humanitarian norms that ensure the protection of journalists in conflict areas, Israeli occupation forces continue their cold-blooded executions of Palestinian media professionals.
The Forum highlighted that Israeli occupation forces arrested journalist Radwan Qatnani from Askar camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, only days after the arrest of journalists Tha'er al-Fakhouri, Musab Qwaishah, and injured Mohammad Sharaka from Jalazone camp, north of Ramallah.
Hamas condemns Israeli targeting of journalists and their families
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, vehemently condemned the Israeli occupation's targeting of journalists and their families on Wednesday and called for the accountability of the occupation's leaders for their crimes, brutality, and terrorism.
Hamas stated that the Israeli occupation, with its criminal and fascist army, continues to target Palestinian journalists in an attempt to terrorize them and deter them from conveying the truth and covering its heinous crimes against humanity.
It is worth noting that journalists, while covering the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and the tensions along the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine, face significant challenges. Their lives are constantly at risk, as they may either be killed, subjected to assaults and harassment, or their offices may come under attack.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported, on October 25, that the number of martyrs has risen to 6,546, including 2,704 children. The massacres are still ongoing 24/7, and considering “Israel’s” brutality, more are expected to take place.
