Dozens of Israeli doctors cut off the Ayalon highway heading north towards the Hahlacha intersection on Tuesday, demanding the occupation government sign a comprehensive deal that would lead to the return of all captives and end the war on Gaza.
The doctors' protest coincides with a media statement to be announced today at 5:00 pm in front of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv, during which the families of Israeli captives will appeal to US President Donald Trump, requesting the signing of a US-brokered deal to secure the return of all captives and end the war.
The Ayalon Highway is one of "Israel's" most vital economic and traffic arteries; it connects north and south Tel Aviv, is used by hundreds of thousands of vehicles daily, and its closure is a deliberate act of political pressure.
The genocide in Gaza goes on
This comes as the Israeli war on Gaza continues to claim more Palestinian lives, with the top association on genocide officially declaring what is happening in Gaza as what it is: a genocide.
On September 1, the world’s leading association of genocide experts passed a resolution declaring that the war conducted by "Israel" in Gaza meets the legal definition of genocide under international law.
A resolution was passed on September 1st by the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), the world’s leading association in this field, with 86% of its voting members in support. The resolution stated that "Israel’s" policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide in Article II of the United Nations Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide from 1948.
The resolution emerges as "Israel" confronts a distinct ICJ genocide case in The Hague, initiated by South Africa. While "Israel" falsely claims its war on Gaza is an act of self-defense, critics contend that its systematic attacks on civilians, obliteration of housing, and withholding of essential aid and sustenance constitute genocidal acts.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has now risen to 63,557 martyrs and 160,660 injuries, and since March 2025, only 11,426 people have been killed, and 48,619 wounded.
