Israeli failure in Gaza to be repeated in West Bank: Al-Quds Brigades
The Palestinian Resistance stresses that the Israeli occupation will not find victory in the West Bank after it lost harrowingly in Gaza.
Intense confrontations continued between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in multiple areas inside the Jenin refugee camp on Thursday, as part of efforts to repel the ongoing Israeli aggression in the West Bank.
Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Battalion announced that its fighters had detonated a KJ37 roadside bomb targeting an Israeli military jeep near the al-Hisan axis, confirming direct hits on Israeli vehicles.
Meanwhile, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades reported that its fighters, in coordination with al-Qassam Brigades and al-Quds Brigades, successfully detonated a high-powered explosive device near an Israeli military vehicle at the al-Hisan roundabout in Jenin, inflicting direct casualties.
In response to Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz’s claims of victory in Jenin, al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Battalion confirmed that its fighters had executed a complex operation, luring an Israeli Golani Brigade infantry unit into a booby-trapped house before detonating it, causing fatalities and injuries among Israeli forces.
Following the attack, the Israeli military acknowledged the death of one soldier and the severe injury of two others in the ambush.
Israeli Aggression on Jenin Continues
Israeli forces have maintained their assault on Jenin and its refugee camp for the tenth consecutive day, blocking medical teams from providing aid. In the latest incident, occupation forces attacked a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance and prevented medics from reaching a gunshot victim near the camp entrance. The siege on Jenin remains in place, with continued destruction of civilian property and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, in Tulkarm, the al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm Battalion announced that its fighters had engaged Israeli forces near Nur Shams refugee camp, targeting military vehicles with intense gunfire and explosive devices.
Commenting on the ongoing battle in Jenin, the al-Quds Brigades commander in the West Bank stated that resistance fighters continue to ambush Israeli forces and military vehicles. He revealed that in recent days, resistance groups introduced advanced roadside and guided explosive devices, adding that the detonation of Israeli military jeeps in Qabatiya and Tubas was merely a message of what awaits occupation forces in the streets and alleys of the West Bank.
The commander also emphasized the formation of joint operations rooms, coordinating field efforts between the al-Quds Brigades, al-Qassam Brigades, and other resistance groups, citing the Qalqilya hotel operation as proof that resistance fighters can strike anywhere.
Addressing the role of Palestinian Authority security forces, he accused them of working alongside the Israeli occupation in raiding towns and besieging wounded resistance fighters in hospitals and medical centers in an attempt to ease the occupation’s mission.
Reassuring Palestinians, the commander affirmed that resistance fighters remain in high spirits, declaring: “The army that failed to claim victory against Gaza’s fighters will not achieve it in the West Bank. The cities and refugee camps of the West Bank will only deliver coffins for Israeli commanders and soldiers.”
Airstrike kills 10 people
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 10 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Tammun in Tubas Governorate, northern West Bank. The death toll is not yet final.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Wednesday evening that an Israeli strike hit a home in Tammun, south of Tubas.
The Israeli occupation forces confirmed the operation in a statement, claiming it targeted an "armed cell."
Hamas condemned the attack, stating in a press release that "the cowardly assassination operation in Tammun and the ongoing crimes of the occupation in the West Bank will not break our resistance nor intimidate our people."
The movement mourned the martyrs of Tammun and praised "the heroes of the Resistance in Tubas, Tulkarm, Jenin, and its refugee camps, who bravely confront the occupation."
Hamas called on Palestinians in the West Bank, al-Quds, and within the Green Line to escalate resistance "by all means" against Israeli forces, militias, and settlers.
Meanwhile, in Jenin and its refugee camp, the ongoing Israeli assault left dozens dead and wounded, with widespread arrests and forced evictions of families. More than 100 homes have been destroyed or burned inside the camp as systematic destruction of infrastructure continues. For the ninth consecutive day, Israeli forces have also prevented ambulance and civil defense crews from entering the area.
