Israeli forces demolish 78 homes, structures in West Bank in August
Israelis are working on making the West Bank unlivable for Palestinians by destroying their homes and establishing illegal colonial outposts.
Israeli occupation force demolished 78 Palestinian homes and structures in the occupied West Bank last month, Anadolu Agency reported, citing the Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
A report released by the commission on Sunday explained that among the structures destroyed by occupation forces were 36 inhabited homes. Another 74 homes and structures face the risk of demolition by Israeli authorities.
In August, at least 206 attacks against Palestinians were conducted by illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank, including armed assaults and theft of property. Two Palestinians were killed by such attacks in Jit and Wadi Rahhal last month.
As the Israeli occupation worked on destroying natives' homes in the occupied territory, its illegal settlers established eight new outposts, while authorities seized a total of 367 dunams of Palestinian land via five military orders.
The report comes as Israeli occupation forces launch their fiercest most wide-scale aggression on the West Bank in recent years, killing more than 20 Palestinians and destroying public infrastructure in several cities.

Destroying water and road infrastructures
Jenin has been among three Palestinian governorates that suffered the most attacks by Israeli occupation forces in the past few days. A key aspect of Israeli incursions into Palestinian towns and cities is the complete destruction of roads and infrastructure which has left already humble residential areas looking like warzones.
The Jenin Municipality has reported extensive damage throughout the city due to recent military actions by Israeli forces, stating that "70% of the city's streets have been completely destroyed."

Bashir Mataaen, director of Public Relations and Media for the municipality, told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that water supply has been disrupted for 80% of Jenin and the entire refugee camp. This disruption is due to the destruction of water networks and the inability of technical teams to access the damaged areas for necessary repairs or to reroute supplies.
In addition to infrastructure damage, Mataaen reported that "parts of the central vegetable market in the city were set on fire by occupation forces," resulting in extensive damage. Israeli actions have also led to the destruction of hundreds of houses and vehicles.
